Patrick Dempsey Arrives in L.A. Solo After Showing PDA with Estranged Wife Jillian in Paris

Patrick Dempsey arrived in Los Angeles Friday – less than a week after being seen holding hands with estranged wife Jillian in Paris, and 11 months after she filed for divorce.

Patrick, 49, arrived in LAX while wearing a pair of black sunglasses, with boots to match, sporting a dark blue cardigan and jeans.

A source told PEOPLE after the couple’s PDA that they are “working on their relationship.”

Jillian filed for divorce from the former Grey’s Anatomy star in January after 15 years of marriage.

The couple revealed their split to PEOPLE in January.

“It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage,” they said in a statement. “Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”

In April, reports circulated that the Dempseys were preparing to list their Malibu, California, estate.

Earlier this month, while both were in Europe for work, they spent a Sunday strolling hand-in-hand through Paris’ Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood.

Jillian, a makeup artist, has been traveling with Jennifer Lawrence for the Hunger Games: Mockingly – Part 2 premieres, while Patrick has been filming Bridget Jones’ Baby in the U.K.
