All it took was attending a rodeo in Texas to change the lives of a 3-year-old boy and his mother.

Charity Stewart Robinson went to a rodeo in Gladewater, Texas, with her newly adopted son, Lincoln, who has been diagnosed with language and sensory processing disorders, according to Fox.

After she took to Facebook to write about the emotional story, it was shared more than 160,000 times.

But it didn’t stop there. She soon learned that the mysterious man was Pastor Jason Taylor.

Robinson and her son then went to meet Pastor Taylor and his wife at church.

They also joined Taylor on Fox and Friends Weekend,, where they talked about their unlikely bond.

“I had tears streaming down my face,” Robinson said, adding that the evening changed their lives.

Taylor added: “Lincoln doesn’t focus on the differences we have – if we focus on differences, it always divides. Lincoln just found the common bond, and that common bond is the love of Jesus.”
