RATED: Tuesday’s episode of “The Osbournes,” in which wife Sharon threatened to relieve herself in a bourbon bottle, was the most-watched episode ever for a series on MTV, reports Variety. The reality show, starring Ozzy Osbourne and his happy family, attracted 7.8 million viewers — as many people who watched last Sunday’s “Practice” rerun on ABC, notes the trade publication . . . SPLIT: After 17 years, “Great Balls of Fire” music legend Jerry Lee Lewis, 66, and his sixth wife, Kerrie, 39, are divorcing amicably, while continuing their business relationship, the couple said in a statement reported by the Associated Press. Kerrie Lewis will remain president of their company, JKL Enterprises, and both will continue to live on their ranch in Nesbit, Miss. . . . FETED: Rosie O’Donnell, 39, has been selected to receive the 2002 Montblanc Arts Patronage Award, which honors individuals who have worked to enhance arts and culture and gives them $15,000 to turn over to their favorite charities, reports AP. “Ms. O’Donnell’s nationwide call to experience the theater has given new life to a corner of American culture that badly needed help,” Lord Charles Douro, chairman of the Montblanc Cultural Foundation, said Wednesday. Previous winners include Susan Sontag and Tony Randall . . . FINISHED: Sally Jessy Raphael, 59, smashed her trademark red eyeglasses, but her eyes stayed dry Wednesday as she taped her daytime talk show’s farewell episode, reports AP. “I thought it would be sad and it wasn’t — it was very happy,” Raphael insisted upon wrapping up nearly two decades of daily TV appearances. “There’ll be plenty of crying. It’ll just be done a little later in the day.” The show is scheduled to air May 22.
