The 37-year-old Mo’Nique, whose full name is Mo’Nique Imes-Jackson, says she isn’t aware of the sex of the twins, but has a feeling one is a girl. Mo’Nique, who already has one child from a former marriage to Mark Jackson, is also now engaged to boyfriend Sidney Hicks. She is also scaling back on some activities, per the advice of her physician. This weekend she will not be participating, as had been previously announced, in the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Still on tap, however, are performances by Destiny’s Child, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Ruben Studdard and John Legend, organizers say.
