Paris Jackson is looking happier and healthier than ever.

With her boyfriend Chester Castellaw by her side, the 17-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson stepped out for opening night of the Deaf West Theater‘s production of Spring Awakening at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

According to a source, the cute couple was invited by friends who work with the theater. Arriving around 6:30 p.m., “they stood around the lobby for a little bit chatting with friends before heading into the show at 7 p.m.,” says a fellow theatergoer.

At the after party, Paris stuck close to Castellaw, a soccer player for the Real So Cal youth soccer club, and was in great spirits while chatting about taking two years of American Sign Language at school, adds the theatergoer.

The Deaf West production of the show features a cast of 27 performers who simultaneously perform the show in American Sign Language and spoken English.

“She was a great signer and was very conversational and so inspiring,” says the theatergoer. “She said she loved the show.”

The 22-performance engagement runs until June 7 in the Bram Goldsmith Theater at the center.
