Paris Hilton and her beau, Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos, riding with at least two passengers in a silver Bentley, were involved in a minor car accident as they left a Hollywood nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday, according to reports.

“It was just a fender bender,” Hilton’s rep tells PEOPLE. “Everyone is safe and sound.”

As captured on videotape and aired on TV and the Internet, the Bentley – with Niarchos at the wheel – drove into the back of a parked commercial truck, scratching the hood of the expensive auto.

Referring to the Hilton party, Los Angeles police Officer Michael Lopez told the Associated Press: “They decided to leave the scene because the paparazzi was there.”

According to the video, Hilton later blows a kiss to two officers on the scene and says, “We love the police.”

“There’s an administrative investigation going on just to see if there was a violation of our procedures,” Los Angeles Police Department officer Martha Garcia tells PEOPLE, adding that no one in the Bentley received a ticket.
