From her double mastectomy to their daughter’s mysterious seizure, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have had a tough time lately.

But things may be looking up for the couple, who wed in 1982. Ozzy, 64, took to Facebook Monday to post a message about his sobriety.

“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs,” he wrote. “I was in a very dark place and was an a–– to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober.”

He also decided to clear up rumors that he and Sharon, who co-hosts The Talk, are splitting.

“Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing,” he continued. “I’m just trying to be a better person.”

Osbourne, 64, also expressed regret to his loved ones. “I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period,” he wrote. “And [to] my fans.”

Reps for the couple declined to comment.
