Oprah Winfrey Gives a Tour of Her Maui Farm
"It's like having earth jewelry – jewelry that comes from the earth," the media mogul says of her crops
Not too shabby!
Oprah shows off her spacious Maui farm in the June issue of O magazine.
Alongside her close friend, fitness expert Bob Greene, the media mogul, 59, tells viewers that having the vast space to grow crops is a “full-circle moment because I grew up with a grandmother who was growing things.”
Continues Winfrey, “Everything we ate came from our own little one acre. And to have a full-circle moment with that – not in Mississippi, but in Maui – is fantastic. It’s like having earth jewelry – jewelry that comes from the earth.”
The Oprah’s Next Chapter host and Greene also announced a first-ever contest for one reader to win a trip to the luxurious Hawaiian city and hike with the pair on the farm.
