Oprah Winfrey says she’s taking her name out of consideration for the 1999 Daytime Emmy award for best host. (The ceremony is set for May 21.) She’s already won the award nine times, in addition to a Lifetime Achievement award. “And after you’ve achieved it for a lifetime, what else is there?” she said. Oprah recently took the guest’s chair for an interview on “The Roseanne Show,” in an episode set to air today. On it, Oprah says that one day she’d like to pass on her time slot to someone else and help develop TV shows for others. The interview also features an arm-wrestling match between the two women. After suggesting the winner put up $10,000 to charity, Oprah took two out of three matches from Roseanne.
