VIDEO: Olivia Munn Says Relatives Were Asking to 'Come to the Wedding' Following Bogus Engagement Rumors
Rumors swirled earlier this week that Ride Along 2 star Olivia Munn was going to tie the knot with boyfriend Aaron Rodgers
“I’m assuming that the magazine that came up with it just made it up because none of my friends, like, my friends are a nurse and an architect, they’re not sources,” the 35-year-old tells PEOPLE about bogus chatter that she and her boyfriend, NFL star Aaron Rodgers, were going to tie the knot. “And I doubt it’s from anybody that’s close to my boyfriend, so I’m just assuming that it was just made up.”
The Ride Along 2 star also says she was initially oblivious to the rumors – until family members suddenly started reaching out.
“I didn’t know anything about it until I started getting all these texts and calls from people,” she tells PEOPLE. “I was getting emails from relatives that I haven’t spoken to in a long time, aunts and uncles, just like, ‘Can we come to the wedding?’ ”
As for her mother? Munn says she assured her mom that no nuptials are coming down in the near future.
“She’s over it and wants to move on to something else,” the actress says.
Munn has been dating Rodgers since 2014.
