Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Celebrate North's First Birthday at Museum

The family hit the Children's Museum of Manhattan on Sunday

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are wasting no time making sure their daughter gets a proper education.

Case in point: Baby North West celebrated her first birthday on Sunday with a trip to a museum in New York City.

The family headed to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, where five floors of literature, science, media and art exhibits awaited. Of course, that wasn’t the only reason to party – North’s milestone fell on Father’s Day.

Kardashian, 33, shared a sweet photo on Instagram of a snoozing West, 37, cuddling their little one. “This is what life is about! Our baby girl turned 1 today!” she wrote. “We played so hard they passed out while we were watching the game!”

Her greeting continued with a message to her freshly minted husband. “Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy in the world! The way you love our daughter and protect her makes me filled with so much love!”

And if Kardashian joined them for a nap, we’d understand. It’s been a busy time for the couple, who celebrated their wedding in France and Italy last month before embarking on a honeymoon in Ireland (and then jetting to Mexico for the rapper’s birthday, of course).

Grandma Kris Jenner also posted a sweet shout-out to mark baby North’s milestone. “You are an angel and I love you so very much!” she wrote on Instagram. “#lovebug #pinchthosecheeks.”
