Norm Macdonald — who plays a compulsive gambler on his TV show “Norm” — tells Details magazine that in real life he IS a gambler. “The problem with gambling,” he says, “is that it’s much more interesting than anything else.” The former “Saturday Night Live” star says he loves Las Vegas and bets $200,000 a weekend on ball games and gets into lightning wagers, where he bets $1,000 on each point over or under a final score. As for joining Gamblers Anonymous, Macdonald (who admits he wouldn’t gamble as much if he “cleaned toilets for a living”) “figured it’s for losers.”
