Nicole Kidman attracts a crowd – both in theaters and on the streets.

Kidman was spotted in London on Wednesday for the first time since news of her daughter Isabella Cruise‘s September nuptials broke.

The Australian actress, who did not attend the wedding following her daughter’s wish to have a low-key and intimate celebration, was all smiles after a performance of her West End show Photograph 51.

The 48-year-old greeted fans outside the city’s Noel Coward Theatre, posing for photos and signing autographs. She was even gifted a bouquet of flowers for her performance as Rosalind Franklin, a scientist who played a crucial role in the discovery of DNA.

Kidman donned a simple but cozy gray turtleneck sweater, paired with a pleated gray skirt. Kidman opted for oxfords and wore her blond hair in a relaxed bun.

For Isabella’s Sept. 18 ceremony, held at London’s Dorchester Hotel, the bride wore a lace, long-sleeve minidress while her bridesmaids matched in pale pink jumpsuits.

Isabella, the daughter of Kidman and ex-husband Tom Cruise, wed her boyfriend of less than a year, British I.T. consultant Max Parker.

Brother Connor and dad Tom also missed the low-key affair, but the supportive father still footed the bill.

Last year, Kidman opened up to Australia’s The Weekly magazine about Isabella and Connor, and how proud she was of them.

“They are generous, kind and hardworking,” she said. “And these are traits that I love to see in my children.”
