Nico Tortorella Gets Candid About Being Sexually Fluid — and Whether Men or Women Are Tougher to Date
"I do whatever I want whenever I want it," said Tortorella
During an interview with Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday, the Younger star opened up about what the label — or lack thereof — means to him.
“It means I do whatever I want whenever I want it,” he said. “And I don’t really have a problem with it!”
Tortorella, 28, said he’s always taken this unrestricted approach to sexuality.
“I think we just kind of have to take the weight off of it a little bit,” he said. “Look, it’s 2016, we live in a beautiful country. There’s a lot of crazy stuff happening, but I still love where we live. And I think that everybody has the right to do what they want and be the person they want to be — as long as it’s effecting positive change in the world.”
Tortorella also talked up his podcast, The Love Bomb, which he launched last month.
“It’s an open conversation with people in my life, some who I’ve been in relationships with, some who I look up to in a lot of different ways,” he explained. “We’re just having conversations about love, sexuality, relationships, gender identity and how everybody is an individual.”

And while he acknowledged he’s been with both men and women, he couldn’t nail down a specific trait he preferred in either gender.
“I just love people, man — I mean, that’s it,” he said.
So who’s more difficult to date?
Tortorella paused for a moment, then laughed.
“Women. Totally!” he said.
Younger airs Wednesdays (10 p.m. ET) on TV Land.
