Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey Reunite to Get Their Kids Ready for Christmas – with a Little Help from Grandma
Cannon shared several photos on Friday of his twins decorating the Christmas tree and making candy apples
The former couple have made a point of spending holidays together with their 4-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan ever since their divorce at the end of last year. And Christmastime is no exception: Cannon shared several photos on Instagram on Friday of the family decorating for the holiday season.
The proud dad, 35, shared photos of his “Christmas Diva” (Monroe) and “Roc star” (Moroccan) decorating the Christmas tree. Both twins also got to climb on dad’s shoulders to put their own angel on the tree.
“With twins you gotta do everything twice, thus the 2 Angels on the tree!” Cannon captioned a sweet pic of him cuddling with his kids.
The rapper later posted before and after photos of his children’s homemade candy apples, writing on the finished picture, “I don’t know who is going to eat this mess… Santa????”
After the festive fun, the whole family went out to celebrate, with Cannon documenting the occasion by posting a photo of him, Carey, the twins and Cannon’s mother.
“#FestiveFamilyMoments,” he captioned the picture.
Earlier this month, Cannon spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about co-parenting the twins with Carey.
“It’s all about unconditional love,” he said. “And knowing because they were so young, this is what they know: They know mommy and daddy still love each other, but more importantly they love us.”
