CLAIMED: Courtney Love, 39, tells New York’s Daily News that a woman posing as a housekeeper robbed her Manhattan apartment. “She sat in the lobby for five hours and the concierge wouldn’t let her up,” the former Hole singer, 39, is quoted as saying, “then she got in somehow and took all the cash in the house.” Love says it was no more than $600, though bank documents also were stolen. This Friday in L.A., Love is due in court to face accusations against her, on disorderly conduct and drug charges.
ACHIEVED: Baseball basher Barry Bonds, 39, hit his 660th homer Monday to tie his idol Willie Mays (who was there) for third place on the career list. “It’s a relief now to be able to stand next to my godfather and finally feel like I’ve accomplished something in the game of baseball,” said Bonds. “It was a big way of getting his approval that I’ve finally done something.” Bonds hit a towering three-run shot in the fifth inning, sending the San Francisco Giants to a 7-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. DIAGNOSED: Actress-model Lauren Hutton (“American Gigolo”), 60, was airlifted from her home in Taos Monday to the Heart Hospital of New Mexico in Albuquerque because of chest pain that doctors determined was probably from indigestion, Dr. Harvey White tells reporters. In a statement released by the hospital, Hutton said it’s important to understand the heart risk factors for women and seek treatment immediately.
