New Gun Rap for Eminem

What a week for rapper Eminem. He was in the Michigan courts on Thursday, after an appearance before a judge the day before. This time, the Detroit native (whose “The Marshall Mathers LP,” which carries his legal name, is the No. 1 album in the country) was charged with felony possession of a concealed weapon and misdemeanor brandishing of a firearm. The new charges stem from a scuffle on Saturday with Douglas Dail, a member of rival group Insane Clown Posse. Oakland County prosecutor David Gorcyca told the Associated Press that the two men exchanged words before Eminem pulled a pistol on Dail. He did not point it at Dail, said the prosecutor, but he did threaten him. On Wednesday, Eminem, 27, was arraigned on two felony weapons charges following a weekend brawl outside a suburban Detroit nightclub. He allegedly pulled a gun — not loaded — on a man who tried to kiss his wife, Kimberly Mathers.
