Family Feud, anyone? Season eight of CBS’s The Amazing Race is being called “The Family Edition” and will feature 10 teams of four (instead of two), with each team made up of members of families.

They are: the Gaghans, from Glastonbury, Conn.; the Rogers family, from Shreveport, La. (daughter Brittney is a former Miss Louisiana, USA); the Paolos of Carmel, N.Y.: the Aiellos, from Mansfield, Mass. (the team consists of Tony and two sons-in-law); the Linzes, from Cincinnati; the Schroeders, from New Orleans; the Blacks, from Woodbridge, Va.; the Weavers, from Ormond Beach, Fla. (and who recently lost their father); the all-girl Godlewski team, from Des Plaines, Ill.; and the Bransens, of Park Ridge, Ill.

Speaking for her own brood, Marion Paolo says, “I think there’s going to be a lot of personality clashes, but ultimately, Mommy screams the loudest and stomps her feet the hardest, so I might have the ultimate say.”

Race, which offers a $1 million payout, premieres with a two-hour episode Sept. 27.

In other TV news, Regis Philbin’s former cohort, Kathie Lee Gifford, who turned 52 on Tuesday, will join Pat O’Brien on TV’s The Insider as a special correspondent, starting Sept. 12. She will appear at least two days a week and handle celebrity interviews and Broadway news, says the Hollywood Reporter.
