Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It” turns an incredible 20 years old this month. (Yes, you’re old. We’re all old. Time marches on, sic transit gloria mundi, valar morghulis and so forth.)

And Pepsi, recognizing this momentous occasion, included Jordan in its annual “Hyped for Halftime” campaign: They helped the singer, 46, turn his immortal hit into a halftime-themed jam for a crowd at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Oakdale, Minnesota.

“It’s always shocking, even after 20 years, the impact that the song has on people,” Jordan told Mashable.

“It’s become of stable of music in America and around the world,” he added, a statement that we hope remains true as long as there is music, America and the world.
