The 2015 Miss Amazon pageant ended on a worse call than the Super Bowl – at least according to the contest’s runner-up.

Sheislane Hayalla finished in second place in the Friday pageant held in Manaus, Brazil, but she wasn’t about to let winner Carol Toledo take the crown without a fight (literally).

After the judges placed the tiara on Toledo’s head, Hayalla snatched it off, threw it to the ground, and furiously stormed off the stage.

But Hayalla, 23, claims she isn’t a sore loser, and says it was Toledo, 20, who really stole the crown.

“Money talks in Manaus and I wanted to show the Amazon people money doesn’t talk here,” Hayalla told Globo the next day, adding bluntly, “She didn’t deserve the title.”

Toledo has not commented on the incident, and will go on to represent Manaus in the Miss Brazil pageant.
