Imagine if American Apparel threw a party in honor of Fiona Apple‘s “Criminal” video at a nightclub described by Stefon from Saturday Night Live.

Then add in some Build-a-Bear Workshop overstock, some grills, a French fry skull, a piñata full of hot dogs and a lot of shots of Cyrus’s tongue and butt and you’ve basically got the Diane Martel-directed video for Miley Cyrus‘s “We Can’t Stop.”

To quote Forrest Gump, “That’s all I have to say about that.”

But what do you have to say? Is it a deliberately self-referential parody of Cyrus’s rep as a party girl?

Or is it a serious, credible bid to leave her teen idol status behind and transition into an adult career? Tell us what you think in comments.
