Mila Kunis cleans up pretty well for big Hollywood events – look no further than the gunmetal Gucci dress she wore to this year’s Golden Globes.

But for date night with Ashton Kutcher, all she needs is a plain white T-shirt.

“I’ll tell you: We have a thing called white T-shirt night, and it’s when you wear jeans and a white T-shirt and you go on a date,” the actress, 30, tells Cosmopolitan when asked about her ideal date night with her boyfriend, 36.

“Nothing fancy, it’s just something that you love to do,” she adds. “And whether that’s bowling or dinner or going to a cheese shop and have some wine or walking around. I think that’s just the best thing to do – and sometimes it’s just nice to stay home.”

That down-to-earth attitude extends to her self-image. Asked if she sees herself as sexy, Kunis has a similarly humble answer.

“Oh no, no. I really don’t,” she says. “I don’t see myself as not-sexy, it’s just not [one of] the top 40 adjectives I would use to describe myself. But I do see myself as confident, but if someone sees me as sexy I’m not going to argue that and say, “No I’m not, you’re crazy.’ I’ll just say ‘Thank you’ politely.”

Lots of magazines certainly consider Kunis to be not not-sexy. Asked about the difference between shooting photos for a men’s magazine and a women’s magazine, she says it comes down, again, to the clothes.

“For a magazine like Cosmo, you wear short dresses and you have the one pose they make you do all the time and you smile and have the big hair,” she says. “And then you’re in Maxim and it’s half the clothes. It’s very different.”
