It may have started as a bet, but Sgt. Scott Moore’s YouTube video will end with a famous date.

Mila Kunis agreed to accompany Moore to the Marine Corps Ball on Nov. 18 in Greenville, N.C., after he posted a YouTube video asking the actress to be his date.

Turns out Moore made the video as the result of a bet with a fellow Marine.

“I always thought I had a chance, and sometimes that’s all you need,” Moore says.

The Marine also thanked Justin Timberlake for telling his Friends with Benefits costar about the video and encouraging her to accept.

“JT and I had this all planned from the start,” Moore joked. “He’s been a great wingman.”

Moore, who’s currently in Musa Qal’eh, Afghanistan, serving his second combat deployment, now has a lot to look forward to when his tour ends.

“We all talk about what we are going to do when we get back, and this was my dream,” he said. “I do feel bad for putting her on the spot, but it’s not like I was going to bump into her on the streets of Musa Qal’eh between now and the ball.”
