Mila & Ashton: Each Other's Biggest Fan (PHOTOS)
At one of their last public outings pre-wedding – a March 2015 South by Southwest event in Austin, Texas – Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher (with pal Brian Grazer) have their game faces on. The former That '70s Show co-stars, who became engaged in February 2014, tied the knot in a super-private July 4th weekend ceremony in Oak Glen, California. "They're incredibly happy together," a source told PEOPLE at the time of their engagement.
Game faces are a common theme for the two, often seen engaging in a little PDA at sporting events around the U.S. Here, they cozy up in the front row at a December 2014 L.A. Lakers game.
"I found the love of my life," Kunis told W magazine in July 2014. "We all get movie star crushes. I'm marrying mine."
Kutcher, in his ever-present baseball cap (this one for University of Iowa, in his home state), joins Kunis for a walk to a Los Angeles dog park weeks before the birth of their daughter, Wyatt Isabelle. "She's beautiful," he said of their daughter months after her birth. "This kid! I'm freaking out. It's new, but it never gets old."
Their smooch at a 2014 L.A. Dodgers game is far from their first, but it turns out Kutcher was in fact Kunis's first kiss. The two had a romantic scene in a 1998 episode of their sitcom That '70s Show not long after they met. And though it was the actress's first, Kutcher says he was the nervous one: "She acted so cool. She seemed as if she'd done it a thousand times. I was the one with the butterflies in my stomach. I mean, here's this little girl and I have to kiss her. It was nerve-racking."
Another day, another Lakers game for the couple, this one in January 2014. Around that time, Kutcher went to Kunis's dad, Mark, to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage. "He asked for Mark's blessing to marry her," a Kutcher insider told PEOPLE. "It was important to Ashton to be respectful and traditional. This is the real thing for him and he wants to do it all right." Added another source, "Ashton wants this marriage and relationship to be perfect."
The two stay focused on the field while watching a Chicago Bears (Kutcher's favorite football team) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game in September 2013. "This relationship started on solid ground and everything is working out," a source told PEOPLE months later. "They are in it for the long haul, truly."
CAP IT OFF
"They are clearly very much in love, in tune with each other and so comfortable," a source told PEOPLE in September 2013, a few months after they were photographed on a walk in London. "In some ways, it's like they're married already."
In what feels like a rare non-sports moment in November 2012, the couple holds hands on a walk near Sydney's Bondi Beach. "Ashton loves to travel and so does Mila, so they have seen a lot of new places and both are charged at the idea of doing it more, even living part-time abroad," an insider told PEOPLE. "They seem to have a lot in common, and that helps keep a relationship strong."
Part of what makes the pair, seen in New York City in 2012, work is their laid-back attitude, Kunis told Cosmopolitan. "We have a thing called white T-shirt night, and it's when you wear jeans and a white T-shirt and you go on a date," she said. "Nothing fancy, it's just something that you love to do. And whether that's bowling or dinner or going to a cheese shop and have some wine or walking around. I think that's just the best thing to do – and sometimes it's just nice to stay home."
Even from the beginning of their relationship, Kutcher has his love under his sports-fan spell, getting her into his-and-her Chicago Bears shirts for a 2012 stroll around N.Y.C.
JUST A KISS
"I get to have sex with her, it's amazing," Kutcher said candidly in a 2015 speech, years after the couple's first PDA-packed sighting in New York City in 2012.
"I was like, 'Oh, he's so cute, it's the Calvin Klein model!' " the actress told PEOPLE in 2001 of co-starring with Kutcher on That '70s Show (with the cast in the late '90s, left, and at a 2013 reunion). "I had the biggest crush on him."
