Mickey Rooney should be on his feet and back in Oz by the end of the week. The 78-year-old Hollywood legend was taken to the hospital and missed Friday’s opening performance of a Cleveland stage production of “The Wizard of Oz” because of a bad reaction to some medicine. He also sat out the Saturday and Sunday shows. Barbara Kelly, spokeswoman for Cleveland’s Playhouse Square Center, said Sunday that Rooney was expected to be back playing the Wizard on Tuesday, the next scheduled performance. She didn’t know what medicine he was taking.
