Michelle Obama has longed for the post-White House day when she can go shopping by herself at Target again and Ellen DeGeneres was happy to oblige with some warm-up exercises at a local CVS.

During a segment airing Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the first lady and the talk show host rediscover the many joys of shopping at CVS – from the Coinstar kiosk to boxed wine and of course CVS’ namesake items: cotton, Vaseline and stuff.

DeGeneres was there to remind the first lady that life after the White House won’t always be easy. For example, the talk show host said, “You push the basket because nobody’s going to push it for you.”

This clip is guaranteed to have you laughing out loud – and wondering why you didn’t think of bringing a megaphone to your local CVS to get faster assistance.
