Michael Jackson and Bollywood composer A.R. Rahman don’t seem like they’d make a good match on the surface, but the Internet has a funny way of proving people wrong.

Case in point: The video above, which matches up Jackson’s 1979 hit “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” with Rahman’s “Chaiyya Chaiyya,” a song written for the 1998 Bollywood film Dil Se.

Kurt Hugo Schneider, Sam Tsui, Shankar Tucker and Indian vocalist Vidya Iyer collaborated on the clip (filmed in and around Mumbai, India), which managed to catch the attention of Dil Se director Shah Rukh Khan, who Tweeted it out. It doesn’t hurt that “Chaiyya Chaiyya” has some international appeal: It was used in Spike Lee’s Inside Man in 2006.

Regrettably, Denzel Washington did not perform the song on top of a moving train, as actress Malaika Arora Khan did in Dil Se.
