Fans who pledge to the campaign will have the opportunity to “choose the concept and title of the record, influence what songs Michael records and which guests join him,” a release from the singer’s camp reads. Exclusive merchandise, and other rewards – such as a visit to the recording studio or a limited edition book of archival photos – will also be given to pledgers.
“Through the PledgeMusic platform, I’m inviting you in on the journey from concept to completion,” Bolton, 62, says. “Hopefully, it will challenge and inspire you as much as it does me, and I can’t wait to see what we create together!”

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Michael Bolton Charities, a project now in its 22nd year of assisting children and at-risk women.
Bolton’s most recent album was 2011’s Hitsville USA, featuring duets with Kelly Rowland, Melanie Fiona and Delta Goodrem.
