Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Madonna posed for a group photo inside the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday and taunted fans everywhere with a joke about “dropping our single tomorrow.”
In the shot, which was originally posted by Madge and re-grammed on Perry’s account, the “Like a Prayer” singer is sandwiched between her new gal pals, all dressed head to toe in their Met Gala best. (And Gaga is winning the eyebrow game.)
Perry also posted a version of the photo on Twitter, alongside the hashtag “#breaktheinternet2k15.”
The sweet shot also seems to scrap rumors of the singers’ ongoing feuds with each other.
Buzz of girl drama between the “Vogue” singer and Lady Gaga began back in 2012 when Madonna was quoted saying that Gaga’s “Born This Way” single was a rip-off of her 1989 hit “Express Yourself.”
The stir continued in December 2014 when fans interpreted cryptic social media posts on each of the artists’ accounts as angry messages targeted at one another.
But Madonna chimed in shortly after, saying, “[There] are people that are so hateful. They want to create feuds between strong women that do not exist!”
In January, Gaga and Perry also had to clear up some non-beef with each other when fans read into one of Perry’s Tweets, believing it to be a jab at Gaga’s “Alejandro” video.
But the “Firework” singer told Entertainment Weekly she was a big fan of the Artpop artist, adding that “everybody made it out to be a cat fight. I think people love cat fights. It’s a turn on for people.”
But fear not – it’s all peace, love and pop between the performers.
“Girls night out Kissing the Ring Finally!” Madonna captioned the shot on her account.
