Sometimes, you just really need a high five, you know?
Meir Kalmanson knows. The New York-based director is dedicated to bringing “positive light and life to the people and places around him.”
This video shows that dedication in action, as Kalmanson wanders around N.Y.C. sharing high fives with unsuspecting strangers who’re standing on the sidewalk attempting to hail a cab.
Some of the “subjects” are scared, some bemused, and some irritated, but each and every one of them has been shaken out of that sunglasses-on, phone-in-hand personal bubble so common to New York (and a great many other places as well), and that’s kind of the point, right?
