Things are bound to get busier for Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green when their third child arrives later this year, but the duo snuck away for a quiet lunch date Thursday in L.A.

While dining at Killer Shrimp restaurant in Marina del Rey without their two sons – Noah, 3, and Bodhi, 2 – Fox and Green were “friendly and chatting with the waitstaff,” says an onlooker.

The pair rekindled their romance earlier this year after Fox filed for divorce last summer after five years of marriage.

At lunch, however, Fox, 30, and Green, 43, kept the PDA to a minimum and “were pretty quiet with each other” as they dined on the restaurant’s Killer Shrimp “Original” dish, adds the source.

The actress wore all black and kept her sunglasses on during the meal and was seen fiddling on her phone throughout the low-key meal.

“Brian and Megan are living together in Malibu with their boys,” a source told PEOPLE in June. “They have been getting along and seem very happy. They are just waiting for the baby to arrive. During their separation, Brian always hoped Megan would change her mind about the divorce and he is very happy that she did.”
