Pass, fail, hallelujah!

“Uptown Funk” just got a whole lot nerdier.

Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s massive hit has been the subject of countless remakes, parodies and impeccably choreographed dances, but it has never looked like this before.

“First Year Funk” updates the catchy tune to highlight the trials and tribulations of first-year medical students at Washington University in St. Louis.

With lyrics like “Got MRSA on my white coat / gotta foam myself I’m so gritty” and “Saturday night and we have a life / don’t stay in, let’s take shots,” spending several years in pursuit of an M.D. never seemed more fun.

Judging by their antics in the video, these rookie M.D.s spend their days studying at the gym, doing lab work and of course, busting out the skinny jeans and suspenders to go dancing in the streets.

And you’ve got to hand it to these students for finding a phrase that rhymes with auscultating.

Going to the doctor may never be the same again!
