More than a year after the death of his wife Linda, Paul McCartney says that he’s not looking for another woman. “It might happen, I don’t know, you know, I’m not really working at it,” McCartney said in an interview broadcast Monday by Britain’s Independent Television News. “I think Linda would want me to be happy.” Linda McCartney died of cancer in April 1998. She married Paul in 1969. McCartney said he decided not to throw himself into his music immediately after her death. “I just did what came naturally, and that involved a lot of crying, basically, and a lot of letting it out, wherever I was — sometimes a bit embarrassing.”
