In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, celebrities took to social media Monday to share their favorite quotes from the civil rights leader – and show how they are keeping his legacy alive.

Beyoncé, Lupita Nyong’o, Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian and more posted tributes to King on Instagram and Twitter.

Other stars shared personal remembrances, from Allison Williams‘s photo of her grandparents at the March on Washington in 1963 to Solange Knowles uploading a video of her son Daniel Julez, 10, reciting one of King’s speeches.

And on Sunday, the cast of Selma – the Oscar-nominated film chronicling King’s push to get the Voting Rights Act of 1965 passed – marched through Alabama. Oprah Winfrey, Common, David Oyelowo and director Ava DuVernay all repeated the history-making protest in their movie.
