Actor Martin Lawrence, who fell into a coma last week after collapsing from a heat stroke, is still “very ill,” according to medical experts, but making a faster-than-expected recovery. “He’s just really healing a lot quicker than we thought he would,” said Kris Carraway, spokeswoman for Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, a city north of Los Angeles. Carraway said the condition of Lawrence, 34, who stars in the new film “Blue Streak,” was upgraded from critical to serious, and he is off a ventilator and breathing on his own. “The doctors are really pleased,” she said. “We’ve nicknamed him our miracle man.”
