Mark Ruffalo and his wife Sunrise Coigney are just a couple months away from celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary, but the spark is still there.
The 49-year-old actor turned the Turtle Ball, a charity event in New York City hosted by the Turtle Conservancy, into date night on Monday.
In between posing for photos on the red carpet, Ruffalo and Coigney shared a sweet kiss and exchanged a few smiles.
The mother of three — Keen, 15, Belle, 11, and Odette, 9, — looked lovely in a simple two-tone dress with a white detail cinching her waist. She wore her hair in a braided updo and accessorized with dangling earrings. Meanwhile, Ruffalo looked dapper in a black suit and tie paired with a blue shirt.
Even before they hit the red carpet, the longtime couple were getting cozy.
Ruffalo shared several photos of the couple getting ready for the benefit on Instagram. Donning almost matching blue button-up shirts, the Avengers star cuddled up to his wife and snapped a photo in the mirrors.
In another picture, Coigney applied lipstick while her husband documented the moment. Finally, he shared a pre-event selfie.

In 2007, the actor told PEOPLE that despite his busy career and having their hands full with their children, the couple do their best to keep the romance in their relationship.
“Yeah, we do, we try. Probably once a week, or a few times a month, we try to have date night,” he said.
Ruffalo met Coigney in 1998 while walking down the street in Los Angeles when he was with a mutual friend.
“I don’t think he wanted us to meet,” he told Men’s Journal. “But I saw her and was like, I’m going to marry that girl.”
