How’s Marie Osmond’s throat these days? It’s feeling strong enough for a hearty laugh about all the fuss over her health.

“I’m fine,” she tells PEOPLE. “I had a cough. I’m doing really well. It was a big deal that was made from nothing. I feel great.”

Osmond, 52, was admitted to a Las Vegas area hospital Wednesday night complaining of tightness in her lungs. She was released later that evening and even took to the stage less than 24 hours later, performing a full 90-minute show.

On Saturday, the singer looked in great spirits at Flamingo Las Vegas at a signing to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her doll collection. Prior to the evening she poked fun at media reports that claimed she was in much worse condition.

“Getting ready for the doll signing,” she Tweeted. “Should I wear red to be festive???.or just stay in my hospital gown since I’m in a coma!! ? ? LOL.”
