A star-studded roster gears up for the June 24 awards show in L.A.

Hip-hop heavyweights Usher, Nelly, Chris Brown and Lil’ Wayne, as well as newlywed Mariah Carey are gearing up to perform at this year’s BET Awards, slated for June 24 at L.A’s Shrine Auditorium.

Rapper T-Pain, whose collaborations with artists like Brown and Kanye West, leads this year’s BET Award nominations, with five nods.

Comedian and actor D.L. Hughley will serve as host.

Legendary R&B crooner Al Green will be honored with a lifetime achievement award and Quincy Jones will receive an award for his humanitarian work.
