The mom of two has been doing just that, sticking to her plan to focus on her children and upcoming tour in the midst of her split with husband Nick Cannon. The singer posted two Instagram photos Saturday night, showing rehearsals for her upcoming “The Elusive Chanteuse Tour.” The show, which kicks off in Japan in October, marks Carey’s first major world tour since “The Adventures of Mimi” in 2006. “I want to experience the spontaneity and emotion that I put into this album on stage with my fans,” Carey wrote about the tour on her website. “I can’t stop writing songs so don’t be surprised if you hear a brand new song that I just wrote the night before the show in your city!” Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Take Off Their Wedding Rings Meanwhile, Cannon, 33, was in Toronto over the weekend hosting a Pepsi Pop Up concert featuring Kreesha Turner and 4Count. A few days earlier, the America’s Got Talent host wrote several Tweets addressing his relationship with Carey and calling this period a “challenging” one for the family. “What infuriates me most is to hear people slander @MariahCarey.
