A new standard for Whitney Houston impressions has been set

There’s shockingly little information available on the star of this video, despite the fact that someone turning in a karaoke performance this incredible should be hailed as a hero. The video appears to have been posted on this site (which doesn’t provide much clarity), though it really took off after being posted on Reddit this week.

The singer’s pitch-perfect rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” (from The Bodyguard) is uncannily accurate, right down to the hand gestures and mannerisms. And he’s really swinging for the fences: You don’t just stumble on down to the ol’ karaoke hall (or patio) and decide to take on a notoriously difficult song from a beloved singer with a three-octave range.
