Magician Criss Angel Cancels Las Vegas Shows After Son is Diagnosed With Cancer

Magician Criss Angel has canceled his shows in Las Vegas after learning that his son has leukemia, according to multiple reports.

Angel, 47, took to Facebook to tell fans that an upcoming scheduled announcement had been postponed due to a family emergency.

The performer has flown to Australia to be with his 1-year-old son Johnny as he undergoes chemotherapy treatments, Today reports.

On Sunday, Angel tweeted a family photo and thanked fans for their support.

“4th day chemo-Shaunyl, Johnny & I can’t thank u enough for the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers & support #amazing,” Angel captioned the tweet.

Angel also reached out through Twitter on Friday, sharing a photo of he and his son cuddling followed by a separate tweet thanking fans for their prayers.

“Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Criss,” he wrote.
