Lindsay Lohan may be at a low point in her life, but she can depend on her Machete costars to give her a helping hand once she’s out of the clink.

“She knows who to call when she needs help, and she knows who to call for the people around her that are staying clean,” actor Danny Trejo, who, along with castmate Michelle Rodriguez has seen the inside of a jail cell himself, told PEOPLE at San Diego Comic Con International Thursday. “She got caught up, and now it’s time to get uncaught.”

And, in the long run, a little time in jail might be the best thing for her, Trejo, 66, added.

“I honestly believe that she might need the break,” he said. “She might just need a break to get grounded and just chill out for about 30 days and see where her life is. I think once she gets her mind cleared and … if there are people around her that arent saying, ‘Hey, stop!’ then she needs to get rid of them.”
