Macaulay Culkin is all grown up – and still isn’t over the trauma of Home Alone.

In the premiere episode of the new YouTube show :DRYVRS, Culkin, 35, plays the cranky husband of an on-demand car service driver who has to fill in for his wife. When his passenger, played by series creator and writer Jack Dishel, says he’s “ice cold” for ignoring his mother’s phone call, Culkin shares the well-known story of what happened one Christmas when he was 8.

“You think that’s cold?” Culkin asks. “How about this: It’s Christmas time. It’s f—ing Christmas and your whole family goes on vacation and they forget their 8-year-old f—ing son.”

Apparently, there are some things you never move on from.

The rest of the NSFW episode plays like a dark version of the childhood classic, complete with a home invader and creative use of Christmas lights.

:DRYVRS follows Dishel’s encounters with the strange drivers of the on-demand car service he uses.

The first episode of :DRYVRS is available on YouTube now.
