In new revelations contained in the May issue of the music magazine Blender — which features candid moments between Courtney Love and 11-year-old daughter Frances Bean –the former Hole singer claims that she has been swindled out of $40 million, while a former business associate says that Love is in a financial hole to the tune of at least $4 million.
“I’m covered with loser dust,” Love tells Blender, as reported by Reuters.
Love’s latest album, “America’s Sweetheart,” spent only four weeks on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
As for where her money went, Love says in Blender: “I found out that our dog walker was making $100,000. One person put a BMW on my credit card. My daughter’s trust fund has been stolen from to the point where she may have, like, nothing. I can’t let this happen to Frances.”
In the issue, young Frances shows what a devoted daughter she is to her mother, who at the end of this week is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles court to face charges of illegal drug possession and disturbing the peace (stemming from an incident outside Love’s ex-boyfriend’s house last October).
In the interview, Love confides to Frances that she’s in need of companionship. “Sometimes, mommies need to get laid, too,” she says, only to learn from an obviously perceptive Frances: “But Mommy, you intimidate men!”
