Anthony Quintal, brought down the house at VidCon’s opening day. The 16-year-old vlogger took the stage Thursday and answered fans’ questions ranging from his biggest role model (RuPaul) to whom he would put on his all-star YouTube panel (Gigi Gorgeous, Trisha Paytas, Ricky Tompkins, Jenna Marbles and Makeup by Mandy). Quintal also talked about his decision to come out on YouTube, after a follower asked him how he was able to make the announcement in such a positive light. “I’ve always accepted myself and it was just something that I just wanted to let other people know about,” the YouTuber said, after acknowledging that coming out is “something that’s personal” and about “accepting yourself.” Lohanthony started out posting videos on the internet at the age of 10 (he now has over 1.5 million followers), and he was reminded of one of his earliest posts, in which he brought a very fabulous leg dance to the world. When interviewer Hunter March asked Quintal for the dance’s name, the famous teen let the audience decide – and the “Chicken Wing” was officially christened.
