Little Globetrotter Shiloh Turns 2!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHILOH
The firstborn daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is no stranger to the world – since her birth in Namibia on May 27, 2006, she's jetted to India, New Orleans, Cambodia and most recently Cannes. Of course, she's never alone for the ride, with sister Zahara, 3, and brothers Maddox, 6, and Pax, 4, by her side!
Shiloh makes her official debut on the June 19, 2006, cover of PEOPLE, in the arms of her parents in Africa. Jolie's brother James Haven told PEOPLE, "To see the father, mother, daughter – it was such a beautiful image that it overtook me." As for Maddox, "He imitated the way Brad held her just perfectly," recalled Haven. "Then when we got back in the car, I asked, 'So what'd you think, Mad?' He just said, 'She's beautiful.'"
The world got the first casual glimpse of a growing baby Shiloh on Oct. 20, 2006, when the tot, wrapped in mom's protective arms, made her way to Mumbai from Pune, India, with her family.
While dad Pitt filmed The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in New Orleans, the family happily settled in the Big Easy. Eight-month-old Shiloh was a common sight, being strolled through the streets of New Orleans with sister Zahara – and eyeing her cookies!
With her mom busy on the set of Wanted last May, Shiloh takes in the sights of Prague – safely nestled in dad Pitt's arms.
Baby on board! At 15 months, Shiloh joins her family (which now includes brother Pax, pictured), on a riverboat tour of Chicago.
In Italy while Pitt debuts The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford at the Venice Film Festival, Shiloh, now 16 months, floats away from Venice on a gondola with her family and one special guest – a stuffed penguin!
It's back to the Big Apple on Oct. 1, where Shiloh joins Jolie and Pitt – in town to film Burn After Reading – on the mean city streets.
Shiloh rides with mom on a bicycle built for two in New Orleans last December. While in town, Pitt unveiled his "Make It Right" project, which aims to build homes for residents who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
The Jolie-Pitts enjoyed a day of tubing and snowboarding at the Mammoth Mountain resort in February. Shiloh, then 21 months, "is just adorable and was having a great time being in the snow," a source tells PEOPLE.
After a snowy break, it's back to the Big Easy for Shiloh and her brothers and sister, who join mom Jolie for chips and other treats from a local store near their New Orleans home.
Like mother, like daughter! Shiloh, here almost 2 on May 12, joins her mom in look-alike black dresses as the two go shopping in Monaco. The next adventure for the tot? Learning how to be a big sister, since Mom is expecting twins in August.
