The star is "taking space and time to breathe" after breaking up with Samantha Ronson
Lindsay Lohan is surviving her recent breakup with girlfriend Samantha Ronson with the help of her family, a source tells PEOPLE.
“Is she upset? Yes. Has it been a rough week? Yes,” says the source close to the actress. “But her family’s around her and she’s just focusing on business right now.”
While a source says Ronson’s family is hoping the split will be for good, those in Lohan’s camp want the actress to focus on herself for a bit.
“The important thing is that she’s taking space and time to breathe,” says the source. “That’s what her family is here to do – help make sure she takes care of herself.”
As for Lohan’s business venture, her new spray tan line Sevin Nyne, its sales campaign is debuting this month on Sephora.com.
Asked about the future for the on-again, off-again couple, the source says that Lohan, 22, and Ronson, 31, “are totally communicating. What’s going to happen? Who knows?”
