Lindsay Lohan is looking forward to starting a family.

In a candid interview with Vanity Fair the 29-year-old actress reflected on her life and her future, including her hopes of having children.

Lohan said she is looking forward to the next 10 years of her life, especially, “making more films, writing my book, starting my charity, working with children a lot.”

“Maybe having some of my own soon – after I get some movies done first,” Lohan said.

The actress is currently dating Egor Tarabasov, and a source said that although Lohan “seems really happy” she is too young to marry.

As she gears up to ring in her 30th birthday on July 2, Lohan said she wishes she would have done some things differently in her life, but “I wouldn’t call things regrets, per se.”

“I can’t turn back time. But if I could, I would have listened more to my mother and gone back home to N.Y.C. earlier in life and chosen my friends more wisely,” she said.

Now, Lohan is looking toward the future, she told the magazine.

“I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles,” she said. “I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place.”

The star also shared the advice she would give to her younger self during her Parent Trap days.

“I would probably say don’t go too fast Put yourself first, and just breathe,” Lohan told the magazine. “Be happy and always be grateful for the moment you have in front of you. Be here, now.”

However, she added, “I can’t say that I would have listened then.”
