There’s a thriving black market for tickets to “The Late Show With David Letterman,” reports Reuters. The show gives the tickets away to fans who write in or sign up through a CBS Website, but the New York Post says the tickets often end up in the hands of scalpers who get up to $300 a ticket. A spokesman for the New York attorney general’s office said selling the tickets may not be illegal, because they have no face value. They can also be sold through legitimate ticket brokers.
