Leonardo DiCaprio played journalist on Friday and landed a big fish: President Clinton, who discussed the state of the environment with Leo. The “Titanic” and “The Beach” star, 25, queried the Prez for an April 22 Earth Day TV special to air on ABC. A White House spokesman told the Associated Press that Clinton discussed his efforts to combat global warming and how the executive mansion has been made more environmentally friendly. Leo is no stranger to ecological issues. While making his latest, “The Beach,” in Thailand, local demonstrators protested the desecration of a pristine shore front that was used as a location. After his White House interview, DiCaprio reportedly headed to the links to play some golf.
